Online Services Work
I have an AVIC7000NEX and the online services worked perfectly. Here’s the reason for the two stars. The UI on the app is not intuitive at all. It’s hard to get past some prompts and some don’t even seem to work. It was very frustrating initially. Since I have navigation on my head unit, I looked forward to the online services, so I cannot comment on the navigation, use of contacts, etc. The app simply did not work, so I had to do everything via my head unit. On my unit there’s a puzzle-looking icon on the top right. This is a must I realized before anything works. Tap this to “associate” a phone. Then, and only then, will stuff start to work. Mostly via the head unit and not the app as mentioned earlier. I activated the online services successfully, (I got one year for free), and they work perfectly.
